Staff Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the employment relationship between Ocean Care Services Ltd, hereafter referred to as "the Company," and the staff members engaged on a 0-hour contract basis. By accepting work assignments with the Company, staff members agree to abide by these Terms.
2. Employment Agreement
2.1. 0-Hour Contract: Employment with the Company operates on a 0-hour contract basis, meaning that working hours are not predetermined and will be scheduled as required by the Company and its clients.
2.2. Compensation Rates: Hourly rates for services provided by staff members are subject to negotiation and will be agreed upon between the staff member and the hiring manager or client. The Company will facilitate these discussions as necessary.
2.3. Payment: Compensation for hours worked will be processed in accordance with the Company's standard payment schedule, which will be communicated to staff members upon engagement.
3. Working Hours
3.1. Flexible Scheduling: The Company will schedule working hours based on the requirements and preferences of the hiring manager or client. Staff members are under no obligation to accept any specific assignment and have the flexibility to choose work assignments on a case-by-case basis.
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1. Cancellation Notice: Cancellation of work assignments is subject to the following terms:
Non-Urgent Cancellation: Non-urgent cancellations must be made with a minimum of 48 hours' notice before the scheduled work assignment.
Urgent Cancellation: Urgent cancellations can be made up to the start of the scheduled work shift.
5. Termination of Engagement
5.1. Notice: Staff members or the Company may terminate their engagement with written notice, in accordance with the mutually agreed-upon terms at the beginning of employment, if applicable.
5.2. Cessation of Work: Staff members may choose to stop accepting assignments at any time without notice, as long as this action does not violate any pre-arranged commitments.
6. Confidentiality
Staff members are expected to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all matters related to the Company, its clients, and candidates. Any breach of confidentiality may result in termination of employment.
7. Data Protection
Staff members are expected to adhere to the Company's data protection policies and regulations, including the handling of personal data and compliance with data protection laws such as GDPR.
8. Compliance with Company Policies
Staff members are expected to comply with all Company policies and guidelines, including but not limited to code of conduct, health and safety, and anti-discrimination policies.
9. Updates to Terms
The Company reserves the right to update these Terms as necessary and will provide notice of any changes.
By engaging with Ocean Care Services Ltd, staff members acknowledge their understanding and acceptance of these Terms. The Company is committed to maintaining a positive and professional working relationship with all staff members.
